The dates for next years' timetable have been announced.  The railway's season will open on 13th March, continuing until 7th November, with the electric railway opening one week later.  The mountain line will open later, on 24th April, and continue until 3rd October, slightly later than usual.  The actual timetable details have yet to be announced but it is understood that these will be different from previous years.

In addition to the nornal running times, the railways will play host to not one but three events periods, the first of which will be entirely based on the Isle of Man Railway and will take place on the weekend of 1st - 3rd May under the title of Rush Hour and will see a more intensive service being operated.  The now-established Manx Heritage Transport Festival will be on 28th July to 1st August and finally a Tramway Gathering based around the Manx Electric Railway will take place between 21st and 23rd September.  Further details will be posted on this site as they become available.
