Home News 2010 Official 2010 Timetables Unveiled

Further to the exclusive sneak preview of the railway's provisional timetable on this website last month, the official version (and those for the Manx Electric and Snaefell Mountain lines) has been announced on the railway's own website as per the link below.  The timetables see considerable changes from those operated in the previous few seasons:-

In addition to the standard four-train timetable that has been in place for many years (which itself is subject to a timing change) there will be a peak season five-train service and a weekly evening special in peak season,  The off-peak season will see a reduced service operating, as was the case towards the end of the 2009 season, which sees the Port Erin based train not running.  The electric lines have also had their timetables enhanced and these updated schedules are most encouraging.
