The railway has produced a 2011 calendar featuring views of all three government-owned lines from recent history, and this is now available from the Welcome Centre located in the Sea Terminal at Douglas as well as some other local retail outlets. It was issued in the last week of the season at which point is was available priced at £5.00 from the manned stations and the railway museum in Port Erin. This full colour calendar features a view of No. 12 Hutchinson passing over Kewaigue Bridge on the front cover. Internally there are views of last years' inaugeral Hop-Tu-Naa Ghost Train as well as shots of No. 10 G.H. Wood entering Port Erin station and climbing the Nunnery Bank as well as trains passing at Ballasalla Station. Other views include a tramcar at the summit of Snaefell Mountain, a tram on the northern line in the snow and the illuminated car. A competition on the rear of the calendar offers anyone to submit their views for inclusion in the 2012 calendar, the closing date for which is 31st July 2011.
.
The calendar is handsomely mounted on glossy paper with glossy card covers and each month features a full A4 sized photograph beneath which is the layout for the month complete with Railway Company crest and space to add important notes and social engagements; bank holidays and other important dates are pre-printed on each month too. It is expected that these will be on sale during the Santa Train runs (4th, 5th, 11th, 12th & 18th December) and that they will sell well as the ideal present for transport historians and those with an interest in local scenes alike. It is encouraging that this will see a return to the railway producing an annual calendar, the last one being the Manx Magnificance version for 1998.
