Owing to work being carried out on the I.R.I.S. pipeline beneath the track in the Ronaldsway Halt area from Wednesday 13th October, trains will terminate at Ballasalla Station with the onward journey being taken by a replacement bus service. This means that although timetable "P" remains in operation, because the train and bus will be shuttling between destinations, effectively timetable "R" will operate (although the ex-Port Erin bus will not be calling at intermediate stations on its way to Ballasalla). At present it is not known how long the works will take but this service will be in place for 13th and the morning of 14th in any case. If required later in the week a further news item will be posted here.
