The details for this years' Friends Of Thomas weekend have been announced and promise a fun-filled, family weekend featuring a variety of entertainments in addition to the regular timetabled service (peak season service featuring five trains each way per day, as featured on the blue panel of the timetable leaflet).  The attractions are:-

* Vintage Bus & Steamroller
* Ride The Troublesome Trucks
* Footplate Photo Opportunities
* Trips On Bertie The Bus
* Vintage PD2 Bus Offering Free Trips
* Bouncy Castle

* Merry-Go-Round

* Face Painting

* Story-Telling With The Fat Controller (Hourly Between 11.00am and 4.00pm)

The trips times for the PD2 are scheduled at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm, 2.45pm and 3.45pm and in addition to this live music (weather dependent) will be provided on the platform at Douglas Station as follows:-

Saturday: Rushen Silver Band 2.00pm - 3.00pm
Sunday: Neptune Street Nippers 2.00pm - 2.30pm

Sunday: Ramsey Town Band 2:45pm - 3.45pm
