Another event returning following a popular debut in 2010, why not climb aboard and bring your favourite teddy bear on the steam train for fun and games at Rushen Abbey?  Last year's event saw a picnic available at the abbey with a vintage bus connection from Ballasalla Station; there were other attractions making for the perfect family day out towards the end of the summer holiday.  This year will see an hourly train service between Douglas and Ballasalla, with the usual service trains supplemented by further shuttles at 10.50am, 12.50pm and 2.50pm. The event is hosted by Manx National Heritage at their Rushen Abbey site which forms part of the Story Of Mann.
