Since the completion of replica wagon H.1 the Supporters' Association carried out no further major projects on the railway for some time other than funding for component parts to keep the locomotives in traffic. When it was mentioned that new injectors would be required in 2006 for the unique Manx Northern Railway locomotive Caledonia the group happily purchased a new set. At the time the locomotive was carrying the unpopular deep blue livery and was turned to face chimney-first to Douglas following its use as motive power on the shortened section between Port Erin and Port St. Mary in 2001 and Port Erin and Castletown in 2002 while the I.R.I.S. piplines were laid beneath the railway. And so, a presentation was made to the Minister for Tourism & Leisure, David Cretney M.H.K., by the long-standing secretary Tony Beard at Douglas Station following a return run to Santon Station behind the locomotive. This had some historical precendent as one of the very first events organised by the fledgling Supporters' Association back in 1967 was a special excursion to St. John's behind that very locomotive.
.
Since this time the locomotive has been in periodic service, and was happily returned to its original deep red livery (as carried in 1995 when it first returned to traffic for the Snaefell Mountain Railway centenary celebrations) hauling an authentic Manx Northern Railway train consisting of F.39 and Gr.12 for the inaugeral Manx Heritage Transport Festival in 2009. During 2010-2011 the locomotive underwent a thorough overhaul (being stripped down to the frames for what is beleived to be the first time since its arrival on the island) and at present it is expected to return to traffic in early 2012 when it will see use in the railway's new Ultimate Driver Experience days which are already extremely popular on the Manx Electric Railway.
