In regular traffic until relatively recently, F.25 was turned to have the guards' compartment at the Douglas end in 1988 and saw much of its later service as a Port Erin based carriage.  Years of open air storage and lack of maintenance ensured its withdrawal from service, and it spent its last years in traffic looking particularly shabby as can be seen from our photograph of it in "as withdrawn" condition.  It is retained in storage for possible future restoration to the fleet as time allows.
