This vehicle was owned and restored to service by Captain Stephen Carter, having never been railway property previously or since.  It is seen in what is known as "Road Zero" at Douglas Stationm prior to onward sale off-island in 2001.  When commissioned with due ceremony at an enthusiasts' event it was given the fleet number three to correspond with the previous two items.  When restored it was self-propelled and carried out some demonstration lifts within the environs of the station yard, also venturing out onto the line on few ocassions.  it was also fitted with a smaller Beyer Peacock whistle when in service on the railway.  Further information on this item of stock will be added to this site as time permits.
