Built: 1998
Builders: Isle Of Man Railway
Status: Extant
This replacement well wagon was constructed in the railway's workshops in 1998 to replace the original 1936 version and utilises the wheels and other basic components of the original with a newly-fabricated body and floor structure. At this time the parts of the original were scrapped. The vehicle carries an all-over black livery with no fleet details whatsoever and is seen on the siding at Santon Station carrying a skip of coal from the 2002 when short line working to this station necessitated refuelling here.
