This vehicle was built in-house in the railway's Ramsey workshops utilising parts from one of their original brake vans (akin to the "E" vans on the Isle of Man Railway); surplus to requirements and in poor condition this van was one of those relocated to Ballasalla Station and noted as being for sale in December 1974, but none of the items were in fact sold and this particular vehicle was scrapped later the following year.
