F.67 was paired in 1922 using new underframes from the Metropolitan Carriage & Wagon Co., Ltd., and used the coach bodies from B.23 and C.14. It saw service until 1986 when it was withdrawn from traffic, now in storage at Port St. Mary Station although the image above shows it at Douglas Station.
It was soon apparent that the four-wheel stock was insufficient to meet passenger demands for capacity and comfort; as a result, from 1876 until 1926 the Company purchased 46 bogie coaches of various types, including two full luggage vans. The bodies of the four-wheel coaches were subsequently mounted in pairs onto new steel underframes between 1910 and 1926, creating a further 26 bogie coaches. Details of these coaches can be found here.
