In the company records it is revealed that this wagon was originally allocated the number H.47 in a separate class, but ultimately became fish wagon 2 in 1913 although it was never visibly numbered to that effect, only carrying the titular name. The numbering scheme was only applied in the company's records when allocating stock to rakes of trains, for maintenance, etc. The company was known for its meticulous record-keeping, down to log books for when bolts were replaced, seat upholstery changed, and the like.
