| Being largely similar to F.7 dating from the same time, the four central compartments as delivered were formed as one open third class compartment (i.e. with no partitions), but by 1885 it was modified to form six separate compartments, the third and fourth of which were first class. The configurations were amended again later to make the coach all third, as above. After years of service but stored outside when out of use, the coach was deemed surplus to requirements after the Peel and Ramsey lines were closed in 1968 and it was scrapped at Douglas Station in the summer of 1970 by Lord Ailsa's men. A photograph of this coach eludes us, so if anyone has one that we may use we would be grateful to hear from them on
