Having been in regular traffic forming part of the "split" trains form Douglas Station that served both the Peel and the Ramsey lines, providing luggage and freight accommodation on either line but within passenger trains, this coach saw service until 1965 when it was withdrawn as not required for use.  Having been stored in the carriage shed since 1969 it was another casualty of the St. John's shed fire on 10^th December 1975 where it had been in store along with many other items of unused stock.  Our view shows her in the goods yard at Douglas Station between duties in 1951, in the red and cream livery of the time.
