Having been out of service for some years, this coach was considered to be converted and form one portion of what eventually became the Bar Set and was inspected for this purpose in later 1979.  However, the proposed funding from Sealink/Manxline never came to fruition and the project was shelved, the management opting to use the saloons for the purpose.  The bodywork from this coach was scrapped after several years out of service in June of 1983 and the frames now serve as a runner, though the fleet number is no longer carried making it difficult to distingush it from other runners.
