This was the final coach of the first batch; the third class compartments denoted above were originally second class but the company abandoned this class and it was later changed, although the only change was the lettering on the compartment doors.   Being one of several vehicles deemed surplus to requirements during the shortened section operations of 1975-1976 it was moved to St. John's for storage and thence sold off-island to a private collector.  This coach remains in private ownership on the U.K. mainland as one of several purchased in 1975, now owned by the Phyllis Rampton Trust and is the oldest bogie vehicle to survive today.  Since purchase it is understood that no restorative work has been carried out to the coach.
