After the excesses of the festive period why not join us for a trip through the countryside from Douglas Station to the southern resort of Castletown.  This service was first introduced in 2009 and has taken place in the week between Christmas Day and New Year since this time; the premise is simple: refresh yourself after the seasonal weekend with a special service aboard this popular excursion train, giving everyone the opportunity to get out of the house after the excesses of the festive season and do something different.  The train will depart Douglas at 11.00am and offers time in Castletown to do as you please before returning at 2.30pm.  Your last opportunity to ride the railway before the next season.
