Home Back Issues Issue No. 149, Summer / Autumn 2009

Following several delays the latest issue of Manx Steam Railway News was members by mid-November, containing a bumper crop of articles and, for the first time in its history, internal colour photographs.  This issue was several months in the planning and to make up for its late arrival will contain 52 pages of news, views, photographs and the usual feedback from our members.  If successful it was intended to produce more colour photographs in future issues . . .

This edition was the first in an improved format, using a glossier grade of paper and, for the first time in the journal's history, internal colour photography.  Well received by our members, it was agreed that all future editions would also take this format and, more importantly, be a standard 52 pages from this point onwards.  The editor appeals to any readers who feel that they may be able to contribute towards future editions in any way.  His contact details appear on this site.
