Issued towards the end of the season this issue featured the first non-current front cover photograph, being of the County Donegal railcars and provided kindly for reproduction by Stephen Hirsch of the Irish Railway Records Society (I.R.R.S) having been featured on the front of their journal recently too.

The figure to the right of the train is understood to be that of Tony Beard who was a seasonal guard on the railway at the time the photograph was taken.  As well as the usual mix of railway news views and photographs, this issue also contained book reviews and editors' letters pages.  Articles from this issue will be placed onto the Recent Articles section of this website in due course.
